Reuse Diaper Boxes for Storage
Reuse Diaper Boxes
If you have a lot of similar sized diaper boxes laying around, here are some ideas how you can recycle them in your home instead of tossing them in the recycling bin. I did all these projects by reusing diaper boxes!
Cut them to whatever size you need and use them to organize. I used blue craft paper to cover the top box and it holds my hair products, lotions, and general beauty items. I used spray paint to coat the light blue box on the second shelf to hold bug spray, sun block, extra shaving heads, etc. When you open your closet to see neat boxes instead of product clutter, it is so much easier on the eyes!
Reuse diaper boxes to organize hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and other coat closet things. Your coat closet is very important to have clean and organized because it is used often and your company sees inside. I covered diaper boxes with fabric using hot glue and they store my children’s outside gear very nicely!
Reuse Diaper Boxes to Create Hidden Storage
My favorite way I have reused diaper boxes is for a book project. I cut up old books and hot glued their spines onto the old diaper box. Then on each end, I glued a whole book. It creates hidden storage for my bookshelves that really fits into the decor! I got this idea off Pinterest and I know there are much better versions out there. Regardless, this one does the trick for some art supply storage.
