Fall Front Entrance Decor
Autumn blew in this week. We had our first frost and the first leaves began to fall. I really love the season of autumn, but I have to admit I’m not ready for winter again quite yet. I always be sure to decorate my house for fall because I always dread the impending cold. Celebrating the season of autumn by sprucing up my house makes the transition a little more bearable. Here’s a few pictures of my fall decor from last year.
This was my front entrance last autumn. I kept my mid century modern chair on the front step as a place for me to sit and watch my daughter play on the driveway. I made the grapevine wreath out of grapevines growing in the forest behind our property fence. The one pictured above I also made and added a pallet sign hanging from the center. A few other highlights are the old ladder (I think rustic and fall just go together) and the grapevine gourd and jack-o-lantern I picked up at a garage sale.
The little pumpkin near the doorway was an easy DIY craft. I will be sure to share instructions on how to make one in the future!
I loved making my entry way outside inviting and festive. Last year it was especially exciting because I had just painted my front door red and couldn’t wait to show it off. I hope some of my fall front entrance decor inspired you to add a little autumn into your home. I will be ready to decorate again this year soon (when our new rental property is situated). I’ll keep you posted what I come up with!
