DIY Jewelry Organizer

Check out what Lexi and I made on our most recent weekly craft day! We have adored those ideas for a framed jewelry organizer all over Pinterest and wanted to give it a whirl. I just so happened to have a frame laying around and Lexi just so happened to have an adorable scarf she never wore.

Then we measured the cardboard and fabric (leave extra) to size and cut. The fabric we ironed flat, and we made sure to use a cardboard piece big enough there wasn’t any creases from what it used to be.

Next we covered the cardboard in the fabric, making sure the ombre was straight, and hot glued the extra to the back of the cardboard.

SO EASY
Then we hot glued the fabric covered cardboard into the edge of the frame. Flip it over and voila!

The last step was to put our tacks where we wanted to hang the jewelry.

Gold is trending right now, and it looked great with the scarf fabric, but you could spray paint any old frame to customize this project to be whatever color you like. I hope you’re inspired to make your own jewelry organizer!
