I absolutely LOVED this for the Christmas and winter Holiday season but was also thinking these ideas could easily be used for all the different holidays with very simple changes not a lot of money if any money and your bringing nature indoors from stuff that is readily available if you live in a country area .It amazes me just how beautiful a piece of fallen bark or tree branch and even when a tree has fallen just how exquisite it is in all stages of its life

In reply to <a href="https://welcome-to-the-woods.com/birch-tree-christmas-diy-decor/#comment-332">Ducks n a Row</a>.

Sinea,
How bittersweet! I have always dreamed of having a birch tree grove in my yard. They are strikingly beautiful trees, especially at winter time. Thank you for sharing your story and leaving a comment! Merry Christmas from my home to yours!

We had several groupings of white birch trees in my yard when I was growing up. Mom and Dad put spotlights on them in the wintertime. They were so beautiful. As they started to die from some kind of attack (insects I think) they cut them down and saved the wood for various Christmas decorations. What a great look!
