I just now stumbled onto your site and so far I LOVE IT!!! I could spend all day reading and re-reading all your tutorials. I also live in MN so I am really drawn to all the projects, I wish I could try them all. I am fairly new to internet(we just finally got it hooked up here at home!) And I always thought of myself as a creative type person, I always try to try new things. Well I could probably just keep going on and on talking to you, which is odd because I am kind of a shy person at first meeting. Lol, well thank you, I enjoyed the site.

I, too, have a red kitchen. The cabinets are taupe and the countertops are butcher block. I’m going to paint the walls white. Wondering what paint you recommend.

I would recommend an interior semi-gloss enamel latex paint. The more gloss in the paint the more durable/easy to wipe down it is. However, glossier than semi-gloss kind of looks weird on walls. I like the brands Behr and Rust-Oleum best! Get one that says it has excellent hide/coverage because it takes more than two coats to cover red with white! Good luck Colleen <3

Hi there. Around Christmas, you did a presentation of making coasters from marble mosaic tiles and painted them with alcohol ink. I can’t find it on your page. I am in Canada and can’t find the Hexagon tile here.
